Training logs allow you to record and analyse your training history.

Contents

Recent Activity

Your most recent 10 activities are shown in the right-hand column. Clicking on any of these activities allows them to be edited in the Log new activity form.

Log new activity

This where you enter the details of new training activities. These may be either routes you have saved or gym sessions.

Along with the route, date, distance and time of the activity you can also record subjective effort and comments.

Analyse past activity

To analyse past activity you need first to select the activities you wish to include in the analysis. By default all activity is included, but you restrict it to a particular sport or route. You must then select the date range of activities to be included.

Results can be viewed either as a table of activities or a chart of activity data.

Activity table

The table shows activities matching the selected criteria. It can be sorted in ascending or descending order on any column by clicking the column header. Clicking on the row of a particular activity allows that activity to be edited in the 'Log new activity' form.

Activity chart

'Chart data for...' allows you to select attribute of the activities are charted and how the date-grouped activities are combined.

'Chart by..' allows you to group activities by date ranges - day week or month.

This is probably best explained by example:
If you want to see how your average pace has varied month-by-month for a particular running route.

  • Activities to include: select 'running' and then your desired route.
  • Date range: select the desired date range (year, 6 months or manually entered dates)
  • Click the activity chart tabs (if its not already showing)
  • Chart for...: select 'pace' and 'average'
  • Chart by...: select month

Understanding the chart

The y-axis (vertical axis) shows the attribute you selected

The x-axis (horizontal axis) shows the date range groups

The bars are colour coded by sport - with the legend on the left

Hovering over a bar show a pop-up showing a textual version of the data being plotted.
